Jordan is a Licensed Professional Counselor- Associate supervised by Barabara Armitage MA, LPC-S. Jordan has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults in both individual and group therapy. He specializes in helping clients through anxiety, depression, stress management, LGBT+ issues, and identity issues. He approaches clients from a humanistic, strengths-based approach and meets clients where they are. As a counselor, his goal is to help clients on this journey by providing a safe and non-judgemental space to do the work necessary. In doing so, Jordan hopes to empower clients to face obstacles in their path and develop a stronger sense of self.
Jordan graduated from the University of North Texas with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on working with adults and University/College settings. He received additional training in working with diverse and under-served populations and in integrated care through participation in the Integrated Care and Behavioral Health (ICBH) Project. Additionally, Jordan received training and experience in working from Solution-Focused and short-term therapy.
